Our Methodologies

We engage leaders in examining and changing their own behavior and underlying mental constructions by:

  • Creating new personal and interpersonal knowledge through the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator

  • Helping individual leaders make new sense of their experience and increase their vocabulary of leadership behavior through Executive Coaching

  • Construing the start of a new job as an opportunity for organizational learning by using an Entry Plan Approach

  • Producing change in individual and teamwork performance through a progression of Group Teamwork Performance Feedback Activities

  • Expanding interpersonal skills through Video Taping and Analysis of a Progression of Difficult, Managerial Interactions

  • Enhancing the performance of large teams through an Offsite All-On-The-Same-Page Activity and other designs to help groups identify, examine, change, and improve their own work structures and processes

PAUL KELLEHER

Paul grew up and attended public schools in Worcester, MA. He received B.A. and Master’s degrees from Harvard and a Doctorate from Teacher’s College-Columbia.

 

In a 35-year career in public education, Paul served as a teacher, middle and high school principal, and Superintendent for Schools for 20 years in New York and Connecticut. Upon retiring as a superintendent in 2001, Paul served for 10 years as the Norine R. Murchison Distinguished Professor and Chair of the Department of Education at Trinity University in San Antonio. Paul is now Professor Emeritus engaged in leadership development activities, including: entry planning and other skill-based workshops as well as executive coaching. Paul has written about this work in several books, book chapters, and articles that focus on educational leadership.
